Modeled after the ancient Đại Việt capital of the 10th century, Hoa Lư Ancient Town glows under thousands of colorful hanging silk lanterns. On the night of October 25, the town hosts a special floating flower lantern festival on Kỳ Lân Lake. You can board a wooden rowboat or walk along the arched bridges to release glowing paper lotus lanterns into the reflective dark water.

- Clothing & Modesty: Evening events at Hoa Lư Ancient Town are close to sacred temples. Keep shoulders and knees covered if stepping inside pagodas. Bring a light autumn cardigan as temperatures drop to 20°C (68°F) by 9:00 PM.
- Parking in Tam Cốc: If driving a scooter to Tam Cốc Walking Street or the Bus Terminal music night, official bicycle/scooter parking is available near the pier entrance for 10,000 VND. Avoid leaving bikes blocking shop entrances.
- Getting a Taxi Home: If attending the Hoa Lư Ancient Town lantern night, taxis (Mai Linh or Green SM electric cars) wait in the main car park right outside until 10:30 PM. Fare back to Tam Cốc is around 80,000 – 100,000 VND.
